Live music at The Dog & Donkey
Live singers, jazz evenings and DJ nights, usually from 8pm and free to come along to.
Big voices in a small village pub
Live music is a big part of life at the Dog & Donkey. Ian Boyd is a regular favourite, with powerful vocals and a set full of songs everyone knows. We’ve hosted Cool About Jazz for midweek jazz evenings, DJ Wadey for Saturday floor-fillers and even the Armonico Consort, who sang in the bar before their concert at St Peter’s Church.
Most music nights start at 8pm and are free to come along to. Book a table if you want to eat first.
- Free entry on most nights

Most nights are free entry. Any ticketed event will say so on the events page.
What time does music start?
Usually from 8pm. Afternoon performances are listed with their own times.
Can I book a band for a private party?
Yes. Many function room parties bring their own band or DJ, and we can recommend performers who know the room.
