A night of music and fundraising for the Devon Air Ambulance team who helped one of our own, Freddie, after his motorbike accident.
Charity & community nights
The Dog & Donkey has been the heart of Knowle for a century. We host fundraisers, local choirs, clubs and groups, and we’re proud to.
Giving back
Raising money for Devon Air Ambulance
In September 2026 we held a fundraiser for Devon Air Ambulance. It was personal: their Critical Care Team helped one of our own, Freddie, after a serious motorbike accident. The night brought people together to raise money, celebrate his recovery and say thank you to the crews who are there when every second counts.
Music for everyone
We love welcoming local performers, from Ian Boyd to the Armonico Consort, who sang a free afternoon set in the bar before their evening concert at St Peter’s Church.
Clubs, societies and groups
Local groups use the function room for meetings, socials and fundraisers. If you run a club or charity and need a room, talk to us.
